At present Vinayapitaka is available for Bhikkhus and Bhikhunias but Vinayapitaka of Upasak and Upasika is not available now therefore the need of writing this book was felt. The author has written this book with the aim of establishing morality in the society on the basis of the known Vinayapitaka and observation of the conduct of seal-bearing elder people of society.
